Fire-Keepers

As most of you know, we have been in talks with NCoF and ATHENA for the past couple weeks to explore a merger of our three alliances to strengthen all of us.

We chose the name Trinity to reflect that fact that there are three alliance families coming together to unite Franconia. We had the following goals:

–to bring the active members from each family
–to give the best fighters in Franconia (some of the best fighters on the server!) a chance to work together to defend AND to be able to go on the offensive
–to streamline diplomatic efforts of the three alliances
–to make the game fun! empty alliance chats and feeling helpless against attacks? not fun!

We then took into account the fact that in the 6 alliances participating in the merger, that there were over 400 accounts to be dealt with. We then made the following decisions:

–inactive accounts will be left in the original alliances and dealt with as it becomes clear that the players are not coming back. Players will be booted, and their cities raided, captured, and redistributed on a gradual basis.

–duplicate and managed/babysat accounts will be left in the original alliances until the dust settles from the first merger. At that time, dupes and managed can be rotated in and out for resources, and will be placed into a new trinity alliance for managed accounts. Players will not be able to play multiple accounts in the main Trinity alliances! If you have a duplicate account, you will have to move your main and leave your second where it is for now for now. (Exceptions are those with hosting or VH duties… their 2nd accts can be used at this time and sorted out later.)

There will be 4 Trinity alliances. There will not be 1 main and 3 subs as is so often seen on evony because we have too many good players among the three families to make that call; also we want to allow for some freedom of movement from Trinity to Trinity as needed or wanted without people feeling like they have been promoted or demoted.

So, allow me to introduce the four Trinity alliances:

Trinity1 will be hosted by current LEGION host, AonCridhe; vice hosts will be Hendel from NCoF and nyteowl or Ramsus from LEGION. Hen has done a great job as acting host for NCoF while their host, Jace, has been away from the game. Nyteowl is a very strong LE player who has served LE in many different capacities and Ramsus has shown time and again his adept skill with diplomacy and recruitment. Casimira of ATHENA has nominated an ATHENA player or two for presbyter positions in T1 as has NCoF; as soon as they accept those nominations they will be announced as well. Trinity1 will be more of a fighting alliance than the other two, for strong players with the desire and the ability to fight.

Trinity2 will be hosted by Casimira of ATHENA; an experienced and diplomatic host. Her vice hosts will be wonder from LEGION and blackbird from ATHENA, with Aryania as one of our presbyters. She will also fill out the presbyter ranks with NCoF and LE players to mix up the leadership. Trinity2 will be for players who are building (or rebuilding) their armies and players for whom fighting is not the main priority of the game. This alliance will serve in a defensive capacity but will also fight as needed.

Trinity3 will be hosted by James from LEGION. James is a great guy who has served as the host of a very strong LE2. Vice hosts and other officer positions will be announced as those decisions are made. NCoF2 and LE3 will join James and LE2 to make Trinity 3 a mix of all three alliances. Trinity will be a developmental alliance in the sense that it will be primarily for growing players of varied prestige; however, higher prestige players who are more into the strategy of building will also be welcomed into T3.

Trinity5 will be hosted by Mungal from NCoF; a strong and well liked player. Vice hosts and other officer positions will be announced as those decisions are made. At this time Trinity5 will be made up of players from NCoF3 and will be recruiting to fill out their roster. Trinity4 will be very much an enforcement alliance; watching Franconia and dealing with unalllied players and small alliances in Franconia.

At this time LeTIME will be remaining with that name, in Saxony, and under their current, highly respected leadership.

For our next step, we will be posting tentative rosters. We need to send some players into each alliance to mix things up and all get to know each other. There will be freedom of movement from one to the other so this is a starting roster, for lack of a better term. If you are not comfortable with your placement, please speak to me as soon as possible!

Rosters will be up later tonight if at all possible, with an eye toward getting the majority of us moved by this weekend.
