But to be honest I don't think John McCain is a *bad* choice... maybe not the best (read: conservative) the Republicans have to offer but I think once the conventions are behind us it will become clear that his strength and experience are the things we truly need and can use. Not the first choice or the best choice but, I think, far from being categorized as the Lesser Of Two Evils! If we can't have Hillary, and millions of us haven't given up yet, then John McCain will at least be able to work on the issues with bipartisan help and without racial and socio-economic drama. I truly believe that an Obama presidency would be so distracted with that kind of drama that our downward spiral would not only continue but go into warp speed. We need a president, not a 'statement' or proof of some new age milestone. A lot of people have found themselves in that position these days. In fact I think we have ended up with 2 of the worst presidential candidates in the history of our nation. I was going to vote for Hillary because I thought she was the best person for the job.
