I thought that at first, then realized my doubts about McCain and concerns of a conservative 'at the helm' could best be address by a a divided government. By voting for, and working to elect, Democrats down-ticket ONLY we stand a better chance of maintaining the majorities and true checks and balances. I truly believe there would be a backlash if Obama is elected and we would lose those majorities. Better a Republican president with Democrats in majority than having a virtually powerless Democratic president with Republicans in charge.

As much as I would love to see a clean sweep of many Democrats down ticket at this point... it would not be the time to do so... yet. In voting for Democrats from this point on I will give seriously consideration, in as much as possible, to those that did not 'go along' with the DNC's actions.

Your reasoning seems sound to me, and very similar to my own thoughts on the matter. I do know one Hillary Dem who is so mad at the DNC she plans to vote a straight Republican ticket. Since there is little chance her state will go Red, she feels this is the only way to make her dissatisfaction with the party really felt.

I am sure you will recognize my name from SodaHead and I hope you don't mind my looking in on your site occaisionally.
Incidentally, this IS a well put together website orderly and easy to navagate.

I am impressed by your reasoning to support McCain IF Obama is selected as the Democratic nominee. It is solid and well thought.

Good Luck with the site, see you soon here and on S/H

I agree with almost with every word. Voting for people that are supporting Obama is the hard thing for me to do. They need to pay the price too. Pelosi needs to give up and turn the house over to a man if thats her stand if she thinks a woman can't be president she should just go home. She should have kept her mouth shut from the start but by letting the little things slip showed who she was supporting.
