Along with who knows how many others I’m sick, tired and disheartened at being called hater by far too many Obama supporters. Like the majority of other HRC supporters, I don’t post pictures of him in native garb or ever use his middle name; I don’t call him names or attack him for his early years or what school he went to. I don’t make distinctions based on his race or religion. So where is this hate we’re so guilty of?

If I were the only one, and it was only a case of mistaken perceptions, that would be fine but sadly that’s not reality. The rampant claims of ‘hater’ and ‘racist’ etc. against anyone that dares to not support Obama have reached unbelievable proportions… a fever pitch that doesn’t seem to be ebbing in the least. And relentless claims of… “her supporters are doing it too” is beyond juvenile and no excuse for unfounded labels (from either side for that matter). This is America folks; since when are we not allowed to freely express opinions or make our own political choices.

The last few days I’ve pretty much reached the end of my patience and tolerance (the little that hasn’t been shredded).

Then today fuzzyface at sodahead offered up this diffuse and eloquent comment; putting it all into perspective and turning the tables in effect. Seems I AM a hater after all and far from the only one!

Well Beadful, I see you have posted another poll about Obama. I also see the kool aid zombies are calling you a ‘hater’ again. I’m sorry to say I am starting to agree with them. I see a lot of hate in you beadful and it’s starting to bubble to the surface more often. To be honest it’s disappointing.

I don’t understand why you can’t just accept that your opinion doesn’t matter and accept the ordination of Obama, and the 4 years of a McCain government it will cause. It doesn’t matter how, or even if, you vote. The DNC, Most major media outlets and a group of power hungry super delegates decided long ago that he is our saviour and resistance is futile.

I understand you why you hate:
You hate people who try to subvert the democratic process.

You hate people who will cast a vote based on a shallow opinion they formed after watching Countdown instead of doing research.

You hate racists.

You hate people who cry foul every time you ask them a question yet call you a racist for not just swallowing whatever poop they decide to spew today.

You hate the fact that a puff of smoke has been anointed a leader, yet every time you look closer you find more poison in the fire.

You hate the fact that every day brings another shadowy character from Obama’s past into the public eye, and another excuse from his supporters.

You hate those who would try to silence free speech and honest opinion because they have acquired a new religious fervor.

You hate the cult of personality which pushes an American Idol president past a more qualified candidate.

You hate those who are pissing on our constitution.

You hate the fact that the country you love so much has lost it’s freakin’ mind and scurried off down the path of ‘hope and change’ instead of ‘work and equality’.

You hate the fact that the silencing of dissent, prohibition on donations to those outside your control, use of deep seated prejudice to acquire support and silence opposition, elevation of speech reading above thought processing, rhetoric above substance, and many other aspects of Obama’s campaign are all too reminiscent of the Nazi’s in 1930’s Germany.

You hate the fact that so many people are falling into a goose step WILLINGLY, giving up their right to self determination for ‘hope and change’.

So there you are beadful, a list of why you are a hater. And you should be damn proud of it too. I am still disappointed. Disappointed that you are such a restrained person and won’t unleash your full intellectual fury on these zombie sheep. Facts, thought out opinions, respect and intelligence are no weapons to use against zombies, they don’t understand them. You have to distract them with shiny things and fisher price baby toys (colorful and musical if possible). I personally and going to get all my old CD’s and hang them on strings on a tree outside the polling station on election day. When the sun catches them the zombies will be hypnotized for hours and be unable to vote.
